WIRELESS PATIENT MONITORING SYSTEM USING Lab VIEW

Abstract : Telemedicine is the newest technology which is the combination of telecommunication and information technology for medical purposes. An embedded system is a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system, often with real-time computing constraints It is embedded as part of a complete device often including hardware and mechanical parts. Embedded systems control many devices in common use today.
 EXISTING SYSTEM :
 The health care sensors are playing an essential role in hospitals. The patient monitoring system is one of the major developments because of its innovative technology. An automatic wireless health monitoring system is used to measure patient’s body temperature and heartbeat by using embedded technology. The proposed system uses both the sensors like heartbeat sensor and temperature sensor. These sensors mainly involves in monitoring the condition of the patient.
 DISADVANTAGE :
 Like all technology however, the existing system comes with some disadvantages. The disadvantages are their heavy cost, maintenance, instrument size and the patient's mobility. Uncontrolled radiation of RF affects pre-adolescent childrens, pregnant women, elderly humans, patients with pace makers, small birds, flora and fauna, small insects etc. The areas near RF cellular towers have been observed with more lightening compare to other areas.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM :
 Telemedicine is the newest technology which is the combination of telecommunication and information technology for medical purposes. It gives a new way to deliver health care services when the distance between the doctor and patient is significantly away. Rural area will get the benefit from this application. Patient monitoring is one of the major sector in telemedicine, which always needs improvement to make it better.
 ADVANTAGE :
 Zigbee is a new technology based specification for a suite of high-level communication protocols used to create personal area networks with small, low-power digital radios and it can be used to transmit and receive signals. It is easy to use and consumes less power and complexity. It requires short range low-rate wireless data transfer. LabVIEW is a tool where we can able to view the data flow through wires and if error occurs we can easily able to find and recorrect the code. This is the main advantage of using the LabVIEW tool for analysis purpose
