LIBRARY BOOK TRACKING SYSTEM
ABSTARCT :
Library management system will allow fast transaction flow for the library
It also provide immediate and long term benefits to library in traceability and security
The barcode technology is slowly getting replaced by the RFID technology
The library across the globe started to use RFID to speed up the self check in/out processes to theft and to ease the inventory control in library
The monitoring module will continuously monitor the movement of books across the rack
EXISTING SYSTEM :
Sanjay Waykar, Amruta Shelar, Sushant Zanjure, Sayali Vibhute and Abhishek Singh(April-2012)“Library Management System Implementing RFID” International Journal of Scientific & Engineering Research, Volume 3, Issue 4
It is based on RFID readers and passive RFID tags that are able to electronically store information that can be read with the help of the RFID reader
This system would be able to issue and return books via RFID tags
It also calculates the corresponding fine associated with the time period for the absence of book from the library database
DISADVANTAGE :
? Two analog comparators
? Fixed voltage reference (0.6V)
? Programmable on-chip voltage reference
PROPOSED SYSTEM :
RFID based Library Management System would allow fast transaction flow for the library and will prove immediate and long term benefits to library in traceability and security
RFID used to search the location of books in the rack. It also provides monitoring and searching system
The system keeps the book inventory up to date with the movable rack with information transfer process
ADVANTAGE :
? High current source/sink for direct LED drive
? software and individually programmable pull-up resistor
? Interrupt-on-Change pin
