Tracking of food waste for productive usage
ABSTARCT :
There is something that we still don’t see: food wasted by restaurants, shops or industries. There is also something we can see: food wasted by ourselves. This is the range focus of communities, through the management of wasted products of catering firms. Now a days people are aware of importance of food but there are no platform to share information about the excess of food available in the particular restaurant, shops and even in our homes for nonprofitable organizations to offer food to the needy. We propose an android application in which the registered user can post the extra available food in their community for other users to come and get use of it by taking the extra food to the people in need.
EXISTING SYSTEM :
? This coupled with high electricity costs, increasing imports and ageing infrastructure have caused difficulties for existing incumbents, most of whom use blast furnaces to produce steel from basic raw materials including iron ore and coal.
? Agri-food wastes that are homogenous are ideal raw materials for biological processes that create new products or existing products by new processes.
? There are also major opportunities for exploiting many agri-food wastes that are homogenous, and are therefore ideal raw materials for biological processes that create new products or existing products by new processes.
DISADVANTAGE :
? The lack of awareness around the issue and irrelated issues, such as malnutrition, povert and food shortage, is minimal and hence a small contributor to the larger picture of food waste and the aforesaid issues.
? Its direct or indirect impact on human health is still controversial. To overcome this problem, IoT can help in monitoring and reducing the waste of food.
? Waste has a strong financial impact and affects the environment including the overall greenhouse gas emission.
PROPOSED SYSTEM :
• This proposed system is efficient, real-time, accurate, and cost-effective. The proposed system detects the food items with the collaboration of sensors and actuators and measures the weight of waste food.
• We proposed a smart eNose food waste management system that is capable of describing a food item and in which amount is wasted in a day.
• This would help in increasing the accuracy, durability, reliability, and efficiency of the proposed system.
ADVANTAGE :
? The Food waste disposal machine (FWDM) used here recycles the wasted food to make fertilizer at planting.
? To ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our system, we first calibrate our sensors as per recommendations to run in the environment with the flow.
? The smart eNose food waste management system is accurate, efficient, and highly performed.
? The proposed system is new in its technology and fills the gap in the food waste management industry with its high accuracy and cost-efficiency.
