FABRICATION OF PNEUMATIC MULTI PURPOSE CUTTER

Abstract : Multi tool turret head is used to make more operations like drilling, facing, turning; chamfering, grooving etc… are done sequentially. It has proved to be the most versatile method to machining works on the work piece. This machine includes a first functional portion known as the work holder which helps to hold the work piece. This system is provided with a set of heads in which machining tools are placed. This tools are arranged in sequential manner according to the operations need to be carried out on the work piece. It includes a great number of pinions and gears meshing together in order to be able to index all such movable tools and so as to furnish them with the necessary mechanical torque whilst, for the rest, enabling their relative displacement, whether this be in translation or in rotation. It can be noted that the high number of tools in such first functional portion leads, in known lathes, to a very substantial space requirement and weight. The cutting tools are generally moved about one direction called machining direction. This direction may be single axis sliding or rotational motion. The machining portion, in which are concentrated the tools and more generally the change the tool head in our job requirement.
 EXISTING SYSTEM :
 ? Multipurpose machine we can perform number of operation on single machine. It helps to improve production rate and machining quality. ? It helps to survey previous studies on knowledge sharing and intranets .and we get the idea of multi-purpose grinding machine. ? In this machine we are actually giving drive to the main shaft to by v-belt drive another shaft driving the multi grinding machine operation done by used only on electric motor. ? The mode facilitate us to get the operation performed at different working centre.
 DISADVANTAGE :
 • Initial cost is high • Spindle rotation is pneumatic power, so this machine having low torque . • Need a separate compressor.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM :
 ? We have proposed a machine which can perform operations like drilling, sawing, grinding at different working centers simultaneously which implies that industrialist have not to pay for machine performing above tasks individually for operating operation simultaneously. ? This project work is propose where a machine is designed which can perform operations like rough, medium, fine , and center less grinding with extra arrangement is cutter to cutting woods, steel bars , the grinding operation is removing the material as per requirement like rough, medium, fine, and center less grinding operation one machine this operation is simultaneously in one machine .
 ADVANTAGE :
 • Low cost, so it can be used in small scale industries. • Higher rate and quicker operations • A number of operations like (drilling), screw driving, reaming etc., can be done. • The nuts and bolts can be tightened to a particular pressure by operating the gate valve placed in the control unit and the pressure gauge. • Both loosening and tightening is possible. Since there is air flow in both directions. • The weight of the unit is less and can be easily handled.
