Vehicle Accident Prevention Using Assistant Braking System

Abstract : Accidents occur mainly due to over speed, which results in lack of control of the vehicle and leads to accidents. We can prevent these kind of accidents by using a new kind of braking system which is known as assistant braking system. This assistant braking system uses laser triangulation sensor, PIR sensor and ultrasonic sensor as its main sensing components. With the help of these sensors, we can identify the obstacle and able to calculate the distance to them. PIR(Passive Infrared sensor) is also used to detect the presence of mammals and peoples in the path or track, and can able to calculate the distance. Using this distance we can manage the speed of the vehicle with the help of Assistant Braking System. This assistant breaking system automatically reduces the speed of the vehicle whenever it is necessary.
 EXISTING SYSTEM :
 ? The accident victim is dependent on the mercy of others to rush him to hospital. ? Many a times an accident goes unnoticed for hours before help comes in. Due to all these factors there is a high rate of mortality of the accident victims. ? Few existing systems to avoid road accidents include antilock braking system, Electronic brake-force distribution, Supplemental restraint system airbags, Immobilizer, Parking sensors, Cruise control. ? It is also noteworthy that existing proposals in the literature are trying to estimate the severity of a traffic accident but do not develop a complete automated system for accident avoidance, detection and necessary measures to be taken after the occurrence of accidents.
 DISADVANTAGE :
 ? The speed of the vehicle is automatically reduced so as to reduce the impact of collision. ? We are concerned about reducing the impact of collision, as by reducing the impact we can decrease the severity of accidents. ? Even transparent materials or thin foils represent no problem for an ultrasonic sensor. ? Many people face various problems in their day-to-day life because of a lack of available traveling resources. ? In this work, the primary concern is to decrease the impact of collision, and after that communicating with the nearby hospital for providing necessary support to the victims.
 PROPOSED SYSTEM :
 • The objective of the proposed work is to prevent or reduce the severity of a collision. • This safety feature will reduce those accidents which can be fatal or at least the impact can be reduced up to a maximum extent. • The proposed system can be used in any type and size of the vehicle, AI-operated vehicles as effective assistance, and in concept cars for reducing the chances and impact of vehicle crash and providing immediate assistance in case of any casualty. • The main goal of this system is to reduce the mortality rate by providing quick medication to the victims of road accidents. Though it is hard to completely prevent accidents, few steps can be taken to prevent it beforehand.
 ADVANTAGE :
 ? The best path to improve AEB safety benefits is to improve its performance under a wider range of speed and light conditions. ? However, the camera and radar are less effective in bad weather and light conditions, such as sandstorms, fog, snow, and darkness. Second, AEB works efficiently only for speeds. ? The main advantage of this project is the overall mortality rates and unnecessary deaths can be brought under control. ? By implementing this useful system, driving is made possible for acoustically challenged people. ? The immediate medication will be provided to the victims of the accidents in remote areas.
