Religion wedding dress purchasing system
ABSTARCT :
This research found that there were more brides who intentionally showed their tattoos than those who intentionally hid their tattoos. Methods used to show their tattoos included adding straps that accentuated their tattoos, shortening dresses that showed more of their tattoos, and choosing certain dress styles that exposed their tattoos. Brides who preferred to hide their tattoos either wore a bracelet to cover their tattoo or chose specific dresses to hide their tattoos. Since this research only had twelve participants that were found by snowball sampling, the results are not generalizable to the whole tattooed bride population. Further research should be done, such as using a larger sample collected from different regions of the country. This research aims to benefit future brides in making their wedding dress choices and wedding retailers in selecting their wedding dress stock.
EXISTING SYSTEM :
? In essence, material reality does exist outside of cognition but it cannot be perceived independent of cognition.
? Grounded theory is a method that contains data collection and analysis; it is a data collection driven method that avoids being informed by existing theories/research.
? An inductive method called Netnography was used, whereby, the researcher inserts himself into an existing online community.
? This study further adds to liminal theory by the inclusion of a boundary conditions as prerequisite for the existence of a liminal space.
DISADVANTAGE :
? On a popular wedding forum, Wedding Wire (2012), brides post reasons why they showed off or hid their tattoos on their wedding days.
? Members who showed their tattoos gave reasons such as wanting self-expression and individuality, feelings that tattoos are a part of who they are, and they never considered their tattoos an issue.
? If the idea of a tattoo is downplayed by society because of continuously changing social norms, and if a bride considers her tattoo to reflect her self-image, then there should not be an issue if she chooses to show her tattoo on her wedding day.
? Their findings explain how tattoos were once viewed and the impact of the Tattoo Renaissance.
PROPOSED SYSTEM :
• Inter pretivism proposes that human behaviour is not so linear and straight-forward, rather, it is influenced by a plethora of complex and often indistinguishable factors.
• It is worth reiterating that this was the groom who publicly proposed to Sola when she had mixed feelings about it.
• The purpose is to present a suitable introduction for readers who might not be familiar with Nigerian weddings.
• The main methodological tool selected for the purpose of the study will be discussed, namely Netnography, sometimes referred to as online ethnography.
ADVANTAGE :
? In a sense, this study aims to ascertain of the advances made in liminal studies also apply to ritual performance, the original grounds of liminal conceptualisation.
? It is important to delineate exactly what identity is in the context of this thesis, this will be elaborated on in the following sub-sections about identity as social performance.
? The performance of a unique consumer identity becomes the primary means of identification and association to their home/original collective.
? Due to the importance of wedding rituals it was further be assumed that the participants will be mostly focused on successful performance of their own wedding ritual, rather than the presence of the researcher.
